Hard task
Deep into my underland,
the ultimate talisman is placed.
A five-day old embryo
must implant into lining
that we suspect is too thin.
Like a climber without the crampons,
slipping down a dark wet wall
until they’re sucked out to sea,
and – with a rush of blood –
I say goodbye again.
